Portfolio Updates Friday evening, 15 September 2006
I’ve been a bit lax in updating my portfolio lately, so this evening I’ve uploaded three new items for your enjoyment. I also have a biggie that will hopefully go live next month, probably with a more in-depth analysis from me. For now, lets just say there aren’t many chapters from the Rails Recipes book that don’t figure somewhere. This one is going to be fully buzz-word compliant!
1. BGB Fine Art
My first e-commerce site and my first commercial Ruby on Rails site. Two records in one go!
2. Spy Media Photo Viewer
Eat your heart out Flickr! Okay, maybe not. I used to do a lot of flash work but most of it was for CDs. This is the most interesting thing I’ve done in flash that’s gone online in a while. Basically it takes an XML file, parses and displays photos as a slide show. Neat huh?
3. Kiper Homes
I actually did this some time ago, you can tell by a few embedded images that should be in the CSS really. Still, this was a graphically intensive site and quite a challenge.
